Jardin des Anges

Founded in 1999, Jardin des Anges ("Garden of the Angels") is a unique Quebec-grown business that produces and distributes organically certified fruits and vegetables.

As a thirty-something single parent, Yanilou Plante dreamed of making a lasting and positive gesture for the planet and the future of her child. She came up with the idea of delivering organic fruits and vegetables, and Jardin des Anges began with a modest ten clients. From these humble beginnings, Jardin des Anges has since evolved into a thriving venture thanks to the dynamic energy of Yanilou, the inspiration and commitment of her team, and the dedication of many loyal customers who have shown their support for many years.

Yanilou is a graduate of the Centre de formation agricole de Mirabel ("Agricultural Learning Centre of Mirabel") and the agricultural business management program of Lionel Groulx College. She also holds a bachelor's of economics degree from the University of Sherbrooke, and was a founding member of the Incubateur d'Entreprises Agroalimentaires de Mirabel ("Agri-food Business Incubator of Mirabel").

The goal of Jardin des Anges

Our goal is to offer a variety of high-quality, fresh and certified organic produce and products all year long. We believe in promoting locally grown organic crops and increasing consumer awareness about organic products and farming. Living up to our word, we have established a network of Quebec organic producers that supply us seasonally.

Located in the municipality of Mirabel in the Lower Laurentians, the farm at Jardin des Anges produces sprouts, shoots, fresh fine herbs, and garlic.

Selected in advance for the best cost-to-price ratio, each fruit and vegetable surprise will arrive at your doorstep along with recipes as well as tips for preparation and preservation. As an added advantage, you should find that you have more time for cooking because you don't have to spend time ordering each week, nor do you have to go anywhere to buy fresh produce!

Our priority is to support local products. However, in order to offer an interesting variety of fruits and vegetables all year long, we must also turn to imported produce to complete the baskets. Of course, no matter where they are from, all the fruits and vegetables we buy are certified organic by well-known and reliable certifying agencies.
