Preparation
+ -We usually eat cucumbers raw. You can peel it or not, or peel it partially and leave strips of skin. Remember that most of the cucumber's nutrients are in its skin. Cucumbers go well with cream, sour cream, yogurt, cheeses (Swiss, cantal, blue, goat), herbs (dill, mint, basil, chive). Cold cucumber soups are delicious. You could also cook it au gratin or steam it. While greenhouse cucumbers are rarely bitter, field cucumbers could be, depending on the variety and various environmental factors.
Preservation
+ -Cucumbers last about a week in the fridge. Once started, it will last up to five days in a plastic bag. You can marinate them too keep them for a longer time.
